Dr. Ralph Joseph, is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist,(OB/GYN). He has 20 years experience as an OB/GYN. His practice, located in Presbyterian Hospital of Allen, provides state-of-the-art treatments and top-quality service to Allen, McKinney, Plano, and other Collin County residents.
Dr. Joseph has expertise in colposcopy and extensive knowledge in the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) and cervical cancer. He is a volunteer faculty member at Parkland Hospital and UT Southwestern Medical School in the Cervical Dysplasia Clinic.
Besides providing patients with exceptional care in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility, he also serves on numerous committees and boards. He is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN and a high-ranking member of the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, which is the most recognized society for cervical and lower genital tract abnormalities. The most recent research about HPV and the vaccine Gardasil is from this society. He also serves on the Membership and Practice Committee of this society.
He has been director of Risk Management at Presbyterian Hospital of Allen for the past three years. He is the past chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at Presbyterian Hospital of Allen and also, past chairman department of OB/GYN at Medical Center of McKinney. He is also a past assistant professor at Oslow Scott & White Hospital.
Dr. Joseph has numerous awards and honors. His work is published in numerous journals, including Cancer, the most prestigious journal for cancer research. He is one of only 110 worldwide recipients of the prestigious Colposcopy Recognition Award.
